Description

This photo was taken from the Noses Creek Trail at Kennesaw Mountain. This section of the trail, is the first wooded area past several historical markers and the first clearing.
During the Civil War, Soldiers set up position in this area. A number of local residents fled when the war came to the area, and the houses and farmsteads were reduced to ruin.
